CMAP is conducting a Fall Forum Series entitled Small Plans, Big Ideas to coincide with the 2019 LTA/RTA Community Planning Call for Projects. Staff will give an overview of the Forum Series and solicit project priorities and evaluation criteria suggestions from the Committee members. ACTION REQUESTED: Information / Discussion
5.0 Recent Demographic Policy Updates
Staff will review key findings from two recent policy updates on population change and working age adults in the region.

6.0 Homes for a Changing Region Update & Trends Discussion
Staff will discuss recent work undertaken by the Homes for a Changing Region partnership between CMAP, the Metropolitan Mayors Caucus, and the Metropolitan Planning Council. Staff will also lead the committee in a discussion of the changing context around housing choice in the region.

7.0 Capital Bill Tool Overview
In June 2019, the State of Illinois enacted a package of legislation to fund transportation, water infrastructure, natural resources, school construction, affordable housing, and other projects. Staff will provide context on the bill and describe a unique tool CMAP created to enable a transparent and user- friendly way to search and explore the funded projects.

This is an opportunity for members to give updates on current work that may be of interest to the committee.
