Old Town home prices fall in June 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in June 2019 in Old Town, a Chicago neighborhood, fell by $40,000 while total sales increased by 16.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In June 2019, there were 35 homes sold, with a median sale price of $327,500 - a 10.9% decrease over the $367,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 30 homes sold in Old Town in June 2018.

The median sales tax in Old Town for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $5,228, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for June 2019.
