Village of Brighton Board met Nov. 25.

The Minutes for said Special Meeting is as follows:

Call to Order: 

Mayor Roberts called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

Board Member Present:

Mayor Michael Roberts 

John Bramley 

Jamie Lake-Boyd 

Marcella Wilfong 

Fred Benz

Absent:

Bill Oertel

Aaron Mead

1. Certification of Service of Notification of Special Meeting: John Bramley made a motion to approve the Service of Notification Form with Signatures of delivery excluding the signature of Aaron Mead as he was not available, and by Fred Benz. Roll Call 4 Yeas; 0Nays. Motion Carried 4-0. 

2. Secure Financing on the Concession Building: After lengthy discussion about the paperwork that Mayor Roberts had typed and presented to the board members Marcella Wilfong made a motion to table until more information concerning the proposals including what the payments will be, what other items could be used as collateral, what the payoff on the current loan would be, and where would the money come from for the payments, 2nd by Fred Benz, Roll Call: 4 Yeas; 0 Nays. Motion Carried 4-0. Mayor Roberts expressed this was only a decision to move forward with what institution would be used and final paperwork would come back to the Board for final approval. Mayor Roberts will contact the Financial institution with the lowest rate and see if they can make any sort of assumption and bring it back to the next regular board meeting on December 2, 2019.

Adjournment: Motion made by Fred Benz, 2nd by Marcella Wilfong. Meeting adjourned at 6:21p.m.
