Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago issued the following announcement on Jan. 9.
“If Michael can climb 80 flights of stairs during treatment, how can you not be inspired? He helps us all to keep going and our team at Lurie Children’s keeps him going.”
11-year-old Michael has faced a brain tumor once before — and beat it. Now currently in treatment for his second brain tumor, he continues to step up to the challenge. Throughout his treatments, he and his family received compassionate support and comfort from the Family Services team. That’s why Michael is climbing 80 flights at Aon Step Up for Kids, presented by KPMG, helping provide innovative programming and vital resources for patients and families.
