City of Wheaton City Council met Jan. 13.

The Wheaton City Council will hold a Public Hearing on January 13, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers of Wheaton City Hall, 303 West Wesley Street, Wheaton, Illinois, to consider vacating a certain right-of-way known as the alley running west of North Prospect Street, south of Avery Avenue, east of North Summit Street, and north of Harwarden Street ROW. The property is legally described as:
THAT PART OF THE NORTH-SOUTH PUBLIC ALLEY LYING EAST OF AND ADJACENT TO LOTS 11 THROUGH 22, INCLUSIVE, IN BLOCK 6 OF EAST WHEATON, BEING A SUBDIVISION IN THE EAST HALF OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 15, TOWNSHIP 39 NORTH, RANGE 10, EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF RECORDED APRIL 2, 1889 AS DOCUMENT NO. 40813 IN DUPAGE COUNTY, ILLINOIS.
The petitioner Calc Holdings LLC (Henninger Group) in Wheaton, 222 East Roosevelt Road, is requesting to vacate a portion of the right-of-way as illustrated on page 2.
At the public hearing, all persons interested will be given an opportunity to be heard. The petition for vacations and maps showing the locations of the properties, are available for examination by all interested persons in the office of the Assistant City Manager at Wheaton City Hall, 303 West Wesley Street, or by phone at (630) 260-2033 during normal business hours.
