Illinois State Senate District 10 issued the following announcement on April 8.
With the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 continuing to rise in Illinois, Governor Pritzker issued an extension of the Stay at Home Order until the end of April. State Senator Robert Martwick (D-Chicago) is highlighting useful information on how to manage mental health while at home.
“Being stuck at home can be difficult, and the COVID-19 pandemic is frightening for everyone,” Martwick said. “Now, more than ever, it’s important to take care of your health – and that includes mental health.
Senator Martwick encourages residents to take simple steps to care for themselves, such as:
– Connect with friends and family online.
– Keep regular work hours while at home.
– Prepare healthy meals.
– Exercise regularly.
– Stay up to date with accurate information.
