Illinois State Senate District 20 issued the following announcement on April 30.
In an effort to expand testing access to underserved communities with high minority populations, Norwegian American Hospital has opened a fully-functioning site in Humboldt Park and Assistant Majority Leader Iris Y. Martinez (D-Chicago) is encouraging residents with COVID-19 symptoms to make an appointment.
“To address the health inequities on the northwest side, we’ve secured additional testing resources and made them available to residents in need,” Martinez said. “I want to commend everyone who made this possible for the safety and well-being of our community.”
