Cost of college went down for all students at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine-Chicago

Tuition and fees fell 32.4 percent for 2018-19 at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine-Chicago, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Illinois students paid $6,880 to attend the four-year private for-profit institution this year – $3,302 less than the $10,182 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 52 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 14 students received grants or scholarships totaling $44,998 and 16 students took out student loans totaling more than $180,218.

Including all undergraduates (186), 20 students used grants or scholarships totaling $63,376, and 24 students took out $204,834 in federal student loans.
