Cost of college went up for all students at the Moody Bible Institute

Tuition and fees rose 4.5 percent for 2018-19 at the Moody Bible Institute, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Illinois students paid $13,056 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $96 more than the $12,960 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 92 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 242 students received grants or scholarships totaling $2.1 million and 117 students took out student loans totaling more than $746,047.

Including all undergraduates (3,086), 2,361 students used grants or scholarships totaling $19 million, and 873 students took out $5.7 million in federal student loans.
