Cost of college went up for all students at Larry's Barber College

Tuition and fees rose 11.5 percent for 2018-19 at Larry's Barber College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Illinois students paid $13,480 to attend the private for-profit school this year – $1,385 more than the $12,095 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 70 students received grants or scholarships totaling $346,520 and 41 students took out student loans totaling more than $46,945.

Including all undergraduates (143), 116 students used grants or scholarships totaling $498,521, and 44 students took out $203,635 in federal student loans.
