COOK COUNTY HOSPITAL: People with diabetes Are At Higher Risk For Developing Complications From The Coronavirus

Cook County Hospital issued the following announcement on Nov. 6.

As COVID-19 continues to surge throughout our country and locally, it is important to stay on top of your health. This includes people with diabetes who are at higher risk for developing complications from the coronavirus. In recognition of American Diabetes Month, Cook County Health reminds you to eat properly, exercise, monitor your blood sugar level, get enough sleep and be sure you are in contact with your primary care provider regarding your diabetes care. #WellnessWednesday
