COOK COUNTY HOSPITAL: Second Doses Of COVID-19 Vaccine To Frontline Workers

Cook County Hospital issued the following announcement on Jan. 9.

Cook County Health began administering second doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to frontline workers today. It’s another step in our fight against COVID-19. Tracy Everett, a CCH emergency room nurse, and Dr. Pilar Guerrero, who also works in our emergency department, joined Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle and Cook County Health CEO Israel Rocha Jr. to discuss the importance of the vaccination and to urge everyone to get the vaccine when it’s their turn.
