Health Insurance Mentor’s C. Steven Tucker warns changes coming to the Bidencare Health system threaten to put the federal government in as bad of shape as it’s ever been.

“If you’re in your 60s you cannot get a health subsidy if you make more than $64,000, but starting next month next month you can make $338,000 a year and still get a subsidy,” Tucker said during an appearance on Chicago’s Morning Answer in March. “Nearly everyone at every income level will get a health subsidy. There’s no more accountability.”

Tucker, who is the founder and principal broker, said it all comes down to something he’s always tried to make clear to those freely doing all the spending.

“I don’t believe you can trade money with the stroke of a keyboard and not eventually have to pay the piper for those consequences,” he said. “How long can this shell game go on? Until it ends, people are going to take advantage.

Tucker said he estimates that roughly 14 million people are now getting Obamacare subsidies and that number figures to swell by about 2.5 million with the latest changes.

“With the additional cost, according to the CBO, we’re looking at an increased deficit of $35 billion over the next ten years,” he said. “But who cares, it’s all free money.”
