ORDINANCE – CHAIRMAN TRUSTEE NANCY BELT.

1. Continued committee discussion and a possible motion to send to the Village  Board for a second and final reading of “An Ordinance Amending Chapter 1,  Section 1.8 of the Code of Ordinances for the Village of Cherry Valley, Illinois.” 

NEW BUSINESS: 

1. Committee discussion and motion to send to the Village Board approval of  Supplement 18 (Nine Ordinances) to the Code of Ordinances of the Village of  Cherry Valley from Municode at a cost of $2,554.92 from line item 5165  Administration.  

PUBLIC WORKS – CHAIRMAN TRUSTEE MIKE NEVILLE.

1. Committee discussion and a motion to send to the Village Board the additional  cost for the second Ferris Mower for the Public Works Department from Cherry  Valley Landscape Center INC. in the amount of $350.17 from line item 5375  Capital Improvements. 

2. Committee discussion and a motion to send to the Village Board approval of an  IGA (Intergovernmental Agreement) between the Village of Cherry Valley and the  City of Belvidere for the Overlay of the Intersection of Newburg Road and Shaw  Road at a projected cost of $11,719.00 from line item 5390 Motor Fuel Tax Funds.

Committee discussion and a motion to send to the Village Board to approve the  attendance of Patrol Officer Mike Rach at the Field Training Officer Certification (Coaching Model) Training on July 19- July 23, 2021 at the City of Rockford Police  Department at a cost of $450.00 from line item 5195 Police.  

2. Committee discussion and a motion to send to the Village Board authorization to  start a background investigation on the top candidate from the village’s testing  process held June 27-28, 2021.
