The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Rosemont was called to order at 9:40 a.m.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
1. A motion was made by Trustee Dorgan, seconded by Trustee Fazio to approve the regular and agenda meeting minutes of May 10, 2021. A vote on the motion was unanimous. Motion carried.
CLERK’S CORRESPONDENCE
1. Clerk Drehobl read a letter from Richard Ramello thanking the Rosemont Public Safety Department for their prompt response to the 911call he made on April 27, 2021. Mr. Ramello also thanked the Mayor and the board of trustees for making such a professional public safety department who serves the people that work in the village and the Rosemont residents.

1. A motion was made by Trustee Dorgan seconded by Trustee Minale to approve and ratify the following paid bills:

Proposal From Aria Group Architects, Inc. / Design Services For The Redevelopment Of The North Side Of Higgins Road
2. A Motion was made by Trustee Dorgan, seconded by Trustee DiMatteo to approve and ratify a May 19, 2021 proposal from Aria Group Architects, Inc. for design services for the redevelopment of the north side of Higgins Road (old Gene & Georgetti’s site and adjacent parking garage) in an amount not to exceed $76,000.00.

Proposal From Terra Consulting Group, Ltd. / Professional Engineering Services For The Redevelopment Of The North Side Of Higgins Road

A Motion was made by Trustee Dorgan, seconded by Trustee Price to approve and ratify a May 20, 2021 proposal from Terra Consulting Group, Ltd. for professional engineering services for the redevelopment of the north side of Higgins Road (old Gene & Georgetti’s site and adjacent parking garage) in an amount not to exceed $117,300.00 . (Estimated cost $113,500.00 to $117,300.00)

ORDINANCE NO. 2021-6-14 / Sale Or Disposal Of Certain Surplus Personal Property (1999 Ford Ranger)
4. A Motion was made by Trustee Dorgan, seconded by Trustee DiMatteo to adopt Ordinance No. 2021-6-14, an Ordinance authorizing the sale or disposal of certain surplus personal property (1999 Ford Ranger).

Contract With Club Automation / Software To Automate The Operation Of The Rosemont Health And Fitness Center
5. A Motion was made by Trustee Dorgan, seconded by Trustee Minale to approve a 5-year contract with Club Automation for software to automate the operation of the Rosemont Health and Fitness Center.

ORDINANCE NO. 2021-6-14A / Increased Costs Resulting From The Need To Comply With Current Requirements Imposed By The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District Of Greater Chicago
6. A Motion was made by Trustee Dorgan, seconded by Trustee Minale to adopt Ordinance No. 2021-6-14A, an Ordinance adopting a policy to authorize the Village of Rosemont to consider increased costs resulting from the need to comply with current requirements imposed by the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago when evaluating and determining whether any financial assistance shall be provided for a project.

7. A Motion was made by Trustee Dorgan, seconded by Trustee DiMatteo to approve a proposal from Windy City Lights dated June 4, 2021 for the acquisition of commercial grade LED decorative lighting at a cost of $56,340.00.

Commonwealth Edison Customer Work Agreement / Relocation Of Utility Poles For The Chestnut Street Improvement Project
8. A Motion was made by Trustee Dorgan, seconded by Trustee Price to approve a Commonwealth Edison Customer Work Agreement (CWA 210200) for the relocation of utility poles necessary for the Chestnut Street improvement project at a cost of $65,862.64.

9. A Motion was made by Trustee Dorgan, seconded by Trustee DiMatteo to approve a proposal from Orange Crush LLC for the construction of permeable parking spaces and roadway modifications within the Parkway Bank Park Entertainment District at the cost of $222,810.50.

11. A Motion was made by Trustee Dorgan, seconded by Trustee Minale to adopt Resolution No. R2021-6-14, a Resolution approving an Intergovernmental Agreement between the Village of Rosemont and Rosemont Elementary School District 78 pertaining to the construction of a new school.
