Chicago Artists' Coalition recently issued the following announcement.

NEW GALLERY HOURS!

Starting August 14, Chicago Artists Coalition's new gallery hours to the public are:

Wednesday - Friday, 11am-5pm and Saturday, 12pm-4pm

Temperature checks and masks are required even if you are vaccinated.

Survey 3: I Sense Something Has Changed, an inaugural group exhibition featuring new works by current HATCH 2021-2022 artists-in-residence, and curated by Cristobal Alday, Yi Cao, and Joan Carol. Exhibiting artists include Benz Amatayakul, Anwulika Anigbo, Bryana Bibbs, Gabriel Chalfin-Piney, Jennifer Chen-su Huang, Helen Lee, Osée Obaonrin, Nat Pyper, Farah Salem, Roderick Sawyer, Jade Williams and Nayeon Yang.

On view: August 13 - September 23, 2021

Opening day: Friday, August 13, 5-8pm.

HATCH APPLICATION NOW OPEN

HATCH is a juried program for emerging and mid-career Chicago visual artists and curators. It offers the opportunity to produce collaborative exhibitions and strives to support an ecology of curatorial and artistic practice. HATCH fosters shared experimentation, exchange, and creativity to produce ground-breaking exhibitions and programs.

Curatorial residents receive professional development through feedback from and working with mentor curators, as well as through conversations and critiques with an active peer-to-peer creative network.

HATCH application for curators deadline: Wednesday, September 22, 2021.

*HATCH application for artists will open on September 15, 2021.
