This year, NWOCC will host an art competition to share the Womxn of color experience. Submit your artwork by March 27th to enter the contest! Winner announcement will be March 31, 2022. HLAI is proud to partner with the Latino Policy Forum to support and participate in this year's Latino Unity Day: Latinos Pa'Lante Beyond Recovery. The programming will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. CST. Sessions will cover education, COVID-19 recovery, Latino equity and representation, Latino voting power, and presentations on current legislative items and initiatives. Learn more about Latino Unity Day HERE. Click on flyer to register to attend. Every year, DePaul LLSA hosts the Illinois Latino Law Student Association Forum (ILLSA). The forum is an all-day event to demystify the legal profession to high school and college aged students. The success of the forum depends on volunteer Law Students and Attorneys. If you would like to volunteer, DePaul LLSA is accepting volunteer submissions HERE. HLAI members are invited to attend The Future is Now virtual conference. The conference will be held from 12 – 4:15 p.m. CDT on Thursday, April 21, 2022. Four hours of Illinois professional responsibility CLE (including one hour of diversity and inclusion CLE) is available for attendees.

This year, The Future Is Now will explore delivering value for today’s legal consumers. Topics will include

· Case studies on novel ways lawyers are delivering value in their practices and organizations
The conference will include our popular TED-like talk and town hall format, along with opportunities for attendees to engage with speakers, fellow attendees, and Commission staff during and after the event.
