Home prices increased in The Loop during April

The median sale price of a home sold in April in The Loop, a Chicago neighborhood, rose by $105,500 while total sales decreased by 90 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $428,000 - a 32.7 percent increase over the $322,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 20 homes sold in The Loop in April 2021.

The median sales tax in The Loop for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $865, approximately 0.2 percent of the median home sale price for April.
