April: Near West Side experienced a 4.5% drop in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in April in Near West Side, a Chicago neighborhood, fell by $20,000 while total sales decreased by 88.9 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $425,000 - a 4.5 percent decrease from the $445,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 54 homes sold in Near West Side in April 2021.
