Ace Hardware shared this quarter's Regional Paint Preference Survey (ARPPS) recommendations for Chicago.

In a May news release, the findings from the ARPPS were announced, sharing with customers the home-supply-and-repair retailer's most popular paint brands in Chicago. They tracked these choices by using data from the Benjamin Moore Color Director, based on her expertise and knowledge of color across the country.

“At Ace, you can not only find the right paint for your project and your budget, but you’ll also find all of the tools and accessories needed to make your project a success,” Ace's resident paint expert, Annie Hunter said in the release. “Our red-vested associates will make sure you get everything you need to paint in one trip – guaranteed, with our Extra Mile Promise."

For Chicago-area customers, Ace found that neutrals such as Balboa Mist OC-27 and Edgecomb Gray HC-173, along with mid-tone tans such as Shaker Beige HC-45, were the most popular shades. White Dove OC-17, Chantilly Lace OC-65, Hale Navy HC-154 and Narragansett Green HC-157 also made the list.

Ace offers a number of benefits for customers, including 3% daily cash back for all purchases made using an Apple Card, a perk only Ace Hardware offers among all home improvement stores. And shoppers can pair that benefit with the points they receive from the Ace Rewards program. Additionally, Ace has the Extra Mile Promise, which ensures that you'll get everything you need on one trip to the store or they'll deliver it for free.

Headquartered in Oak Brook, Ill., Ace Hardware is the largest retailer-owned hardware cooperative in the world, with more than 5,600 locally owned and operated hardware stores in approximately 70 countries.

Ace won the 2022 JD Power U.S. Home Improvement Retailer Satisfaction Study, which makes the 15th time over the past 16 years they've won the award. This year Ace ranked highest in all five categories the study measures: Staff and Service, Merchandise, In-store Experience, Online Experience and Price.
