The People Who Play By The Rules PAC has released a chilling ad in which a Chicago woman’s scream echoes in her neighborhood as she is attacked in daylight.

“On a Sunday afternoon in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood….” the ad’s introduction reads.

The video depicts a woman briskly walking down a residential street during a pleasant day when a car comes to an abrupt stop, three men jump out and attack her.

In the beating the attackers took the woman to the ground, kicking her as she wails.

“How much worse does it have to get?” the ad reads at its conclusion.

The PAC has been focusing messaging efforts on Gov. J.B. Pritzker’s failures on crime.

“Chicagoland is less safe as a result of his alliance with Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot and Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx,” PBR PAC spokesman Mike Koolidge said in a previous press release.

Shootings and other criminal activity have both increased in frequency in Chicago and the surrounding area.

Over the previous few years, murder rates have risen to historic highs, shattering figures from 1994.

Burglaries, thefts, and auto thefts all had increases of 33%, 61%, and 45% in 2022.

Pritzker has also come under fire for the harm that the SAFE-T Act, which goes into force on January 1, 2023, is expected to do.

The Safe-T Act will result in the release of those charged with the worst crimes including robbery, kidnapping, arson, second-degree murder, intimidation, aggravated battery, aggravated DUI, aggravated flight, drug-related homicide and threatening a public official.

“Governor Pritzker has the abnormal and insane governing philosophy that prioritizes the thoughts and feelings of violent criminals above law enforcement and public safety," Illinois GOP Chairman Don Tracy said. "Four more years of J.B. Pritzker is dangerous for Illinois."
