Illinois 8th Congressional District candidate Chris Dargis is decrying Chicago pushing immigrants entering the country illegally into the suburbs.

“The impact of the #BidenBorderCrisis should not fall on Illinois taxpayers because the Biden-Krishnamoorthi administration has refused to solve this humanitarian and national security crisis. We need leaders in D.C. who will secure our borders now! #twill," Dargis said on Twitter.

One group was dropped off at the La Quinta by Chicago Regional Transit authority buses. They are staying there “indefinitely.”

Elk Grove Mayor Craig Johnson called out Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot dropping the group without warning.

Lightfoot had earlier said she’d welcome the busloads from Texas, which has sent similar buses to New York and Washington, D.C., each of which has taken in around 8,000 immigrants in the country illegally.

Similarly, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has begun sending those in the country illegally to Democrat-controlled sanctuary states, North Cook News reported.

A scabies outbreak was reported among that group over the weekend. Johnson previously noted he was concerned about public safety given those bused in and dropped off had no medical records or documentation noting their state of health.

Another busload was dropped off at a Burr Ridge Hampton Inn.

Burr Ridge Mayor Gary Grasso told WGN-TV that he was unaware of the drop until residents contacted him. A text message from Grasso to a resident was also shared with the DuPage Policy Journal in which the mayor said he’d received no official communication from any government agencies or offices.

The groups are being supported by nonprofits and are at the hotels “indefinitely,” the Journal reported.

Dargis is facing incumbent Democrat U.S. Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-Chicago).

Krishnamoorthi has been supportive of opening the border to the undocumented to cross illegally, WTTW News reported.
