About this crime:
On October 6, 2022 at 3:30 p.m., an 11-year-old female victim was walking home from school when an unknown male offender approached her from behind, placed his hand over her mouth and pulled her into a secluded area of the alley, where he sexually abused her. The victim was able to break free and ran away. The offender fled in an unknown direction.

About the offender:
The offender is described as an African American male, 45-60 years old, 5’8”-5’10”, thin build, graying hair and mustache or goatee. The offender was wearing a black shirt (right sleeve on the shirt had a rip on it), black jeans with a silver belt buckle, and black beat-up work boots.
What you can do:
• Call 911 to report any suspicious persons or activity in the area.
• Always be aware of your surroundings.
• Instruct children to walk in pairs or small groups.
• Instruct children to report any suspicious activity to an adult immediately.
