Narrative: The above offender was arrested on October 15, 2022, at 10:11 a.m., in the 4800 block of W. Lake. He was identified as the offender who, minutes earlier, attempted to rob a 21-year-old male at gunpoint while on a train platform in in the 4800 block of W. Lake (15th District). The victim and offender exchanged gunfire, but no one was struck. The offender then attempted to flee, at which time he was stopped by officers on scene and placed into custody. The offender is also charged in connection to the armed robbery of a 19-year-old female that occurred on October 12, 2022 in the 300 block of N. Laramie (15th District).
