About the crime:
On Thursday, December 29th at 6:20 P.M., a two pedestrians were last seen walking eastbound on 95th Street at Ashland Avenue. Both pedestrians were struck by the above listed vehicle. A 63 year old man was struck by the below described vehicle and died from his injuries.
About the vehicle:
The vehicle is a white 2007 Chevrolet Equinox, bearing Illinois registration CZ74463. After the hit and run, the Chevrolet Equinox continued northbound on Ashland Avenue, and the deceased victim became dislodged from underneath the vehicle at approximately 8847 S. Ashland Avenue. Witnesses described the driver as a Male Black, approximately 5’10”-6’00” in height, 25-35 years of age, and a slender build. Witnesses also described the driver having a beard wearing a baseball hat. The vehicle was last seen going northbound on Morgan Street from 83rd Street.
