The Chicago State women's tennis team opened the 2023 spring season with a 7-0 loss to Northwestern Saturday afternoon at the Combe Tennis Center in Evanston.
Northwestern earned the doubles point with a forfeit win and a win at No. 2 and swept singles with straight-set wins. Compete results listed below.
The Cougars will be back on the court and will play their second match in as many days, staying in the Big Ten and traveling to West Lafayette, Indiana, to face Purdue on Sunday, January 15 at 5 p.m. at the Schwartz Tennis Center.
