Narrative: The above offenders were arrested on February 9, 2023, at 1:08 a.m., in the 100 block of N. State. Minutes earlier, officers were conducting a platform check in the 100 block of N. State (1st District) when they observed the two offenders together and one smoking on a train car, a municipal code violation. Officers then conducted a field interview, at which time both offenders were found to be in possession of firearms. A rifle and a ghost gun were recovered. The offenders were placed into custody and charged accordingly.
