About the Crime:
In all of the incidents, the offender(s) approached the victim on foot, produced a handgun and demanded the victim's property. After taking the victim's property, the offender(s) fled on foot.
Incident Dates and Locations:
- 300 block of North Central Ave on January 27, 2023 at 11:45 PM.
- 5400 block of West Lake St on January 31, 2023 at 5:50 AM.
- 300 block of North Central Ave on February 2, 2023 at 4:30 PM.
- 400 block of North Menard Ave on February 11, 2023 at 9:05 PM.
African American Male, offender(s), 18-32 years old, 5'06"-6'02", 150-160 lbs, wearing black ski masks.
What you can do:
- Remember any unique physical characteristics (scars, limp, acne, teeth, etc...)
- Never pursue a fleeing assailant, provide the information to the police
- Never resist a robbery. Value your life over any and all property.
- If approached by a witness to the incident, request contact information
- Dial 9-1-1 immediately and remain on scene when possible
- Do not touch anything until police arrive.
