About the Crime:
This alert gives notice to residents of the 017th district of recent Garage Burglaries. In these incidents the unknown offender(s) made entry into the victim's garage. The offender(s) then rummaged through the garage taking items belonging to the victim. The offender(s) fled the area.
Incident times and locations:
- 4000 block of North Whipple St. between March 3rd at 6:30pm and March 4th at 6am.
- 3900 block of North Whipple St. between March 7th at 2:30pm and March 7th at 6:30pm.
- 4200 block of North Troy St. on March 8th at 1:40am.
- 3800 block of North Spaulding Ave between March 8th at 7pm and March 9th at 6am.

What you can do:
- Be aware of this crime and alert your neighbors.
- Pay special attention to any suspicious subjects loitering in the area.
- Ensure that existing surveillance cameras are functional.
- Call 911 immediately and provide a detailed description of the offender(s) including any vehicle description and license plate information.
