The Blue Demons take on the Golden Eagles for a Friday Night Matchup
DePaul men's tennis (7-9) heads up to Milwaukee, Wis. to face off against Marquette (0-10) Friday night for their first BIG EAST dual match of the season at 6 p.m. CT.
The Blue Demons visit Marquette after their 4-3 comeback win against Army last weekend. Junior Shourya Verma clinched the victory after defeating his opponent 6-4, 4-6, 6-3. Leon Huck also played a major role in the win after he captured the equalizer. The senior was most recently recognized as the BIG EAST men's singles player of the week for his athletic performance.
Marquette hosts DePaul on a ten game skid. Their most recent loss comes from Illinois State when they fell 2-5 this past Sunday. The last matchup between the Golden Eagles and the Blue Demons took place on April 3, 2022 in Chicago, when DePaul won 5-2.
