About the Crime:

This alert gives notice to all businesses, specifically those which liquor in the 025th District, of recent burglaries that have taken place. These incidents occurred in the overnight hours while the business was closed. The offenders gain entry using bolt cutters and a crow bar to smash the business's windows. Once inside, the offenders rummage through the business taking bottles and cases of alcohol, as well as any currency in unlocked register drawers.

•  2914 N Central Ave on March 14, 2023 at 2:48am
•  3934 W Diversey Ave on March 14, 2023 at 3:44am

Offender Description:

• (2) male African American offenders wearing black ski masks, dark clothing, hoodies, dark blue jeans, gloves, with skeleton design

What you can do:

• Be aware of this crime and alert nearby businesses.
•  Do not try to rationalize or confront offenders as it could lead to possible injury

•  Ensure that existing surveillance cameras are functional and recording.
•  Call 911 immediately and provide a detailed description of the offender
