Thanks to the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, residents of Illinois Second Congressional District are benefiting from a generational investment of over $41 million in their public infrastructure.
WASHINGTON, D.C– On May 17, U.S. Representative Robin Kelly (D-IL) celebrated Infrastructure Week by acknowledging the $41.46 million dollars in federal-aid highway fund commitments made possible in Illinois’ Second Congressional District by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.

Since 2021, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law has supported Illinois infrastructure with critical investments in road maintenance, public transportation, high-speed broadband access, and so much more,” said Representative Robin Kelly (IL-02). “ I look forward to future investments supported by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law that will improve quality of life, create jobs, and strengthen the economic competitiveness of communities across our district.”
