Here are the minutes provided by the council: 

CALL TO ORDER - At 6:45 PM, Acting Mayor Dolick called to order the City Council Budget Hearing at 8 N Elmhurst Road, Prospect Heights, IL 60070. 

ROLL CALL - Deputy Clerk Schultheis called roll. A quorum was present. 

ELECTED OFFICIALS PRESENT - Acting Mayor/Alderman Ward 5 Dolick, Treasurer Tibbits, Aldermen - Morgan-Adams, Dash, Cameron, Ludvigsen 

ABSENT – City Clerk Prisiajniouk (with previous notification) 

OTHER OFFICIALS PRESENT - City Administrator Wade, Assistant City Administrator Falcone, Deputy Clerk Schultheis, Director of Building and Development Peterson, Public Works Director Roscoe, Digital Communications Technician Colvin, Co-Director of Finance Giacalone, Attorney O'Driscoll. 

COMMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC - None 

MOTION TO OPEN PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING THE FY2023-24 BUDGET - At 6:46 PM, Alderman Morgan-Adams moved to Open the Public Hearing regarding the FY 2023-24 Budget; seconded by Alderman Cameron. There was unanimous approval. 

ROLL CALL VOTE: AYES - Dash, Cameron, Ludvigsen, Dolick, Morgan-Adams

NAYS -  None 

ABSENT - None 

Motion carried 5 - 0. 

MAYOR'S STATEMENT: Mayor Dolick read the statement below. 

a. Purpose of the Public Hearing is receiving comments from the public on the proposed Budget. 

b. Budget was prepared in tentative form and made conveniently available to the public for at least 10 days prior to tonight's hearing. 

c. Notice of the hearing was published in the Daily Herald on April 13th 

d. The tentative Budget includes information about the City's anticipated receipts and expenditures for this fiscal year.

COUNCIL COMMENT ABOUT THE BUDGET - None 

MOTION TO CLOSE PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING THE FY2023-24 BUDGET - At 6:47, Alderman Ludvigsen moved to Close the Public Hearing Regarding the FY2023-24 Budget; seconded by Alderman Cameron. There was unanimous approval. 

ROLL CALL VOTE: AYES - Cameron, Ludvigsen, Dolick, Morgan-Adams, Dash

NAYS - None 

ABSENT - None 

Motion carried 5 -0. 

MOTION TO ADJOURN MEETING - At 6:47, Alderman Dash moved to Adjourn; seconded by Alderman Cameron. There was unanimous approval. 

ROLL CALL VOTE: AYES - Ludvigsen, Dolick, Morgan-Adams, Dash, Cameron  

NAYS - None 

ABSENT - None

Motion carried 5 - 0.
