City of Wheaton Board of Fire & Police Commissioners met April 18

I. Call to Order
At 4:05 p.m., Commissioner Canova called to order the special meeting of the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners. The meeting was held in the Conley Room at Wheaton City Hall, 303 W. Wesley St., Wheaton, Illinois. Upon roll call, the following were present: Commissioner Canova, Commissioner Wanzenberg, Commissioner Vroman, and Commissioner Haines. Also present were Fire Chief Brill, Assistant Chief Vassios, and Director of Human Resources Schulz. Chair Illia was absent.
II. Public Comment
No public comment
III. Approval of Minutes
Commissioner Vroman moved, and Commissioner Wanzenberg seconded to approve the meeting minutes from April 13, 2023.

Absent: Chair Illia

At 4:07 Commissioner Wanzenberg moved, and Commissioner Vroman seconded to move into closed session. The motion carried unanimously.
At 9:07 Commissioner Wanzenberg moved and Commissioner Canova seconded to move out of closed session. The motion carried unanimously.

VIII. Adjournment
Commissioner Vroman moved and Commissioner Wanzenberg seconded to adjourn the special meeting at 9:08pm. The motion carried unanimously.
