Belmont Cragin, IL —On Tuesday, June 20, Congresswoman Delia C. Ramirez (IL-03) welcomed the U.S. Small Bussines Administration (SBA) Administrator Isabella Casillas Guzman to meet with local entrepreneurs and participate in a roundtable discussion as part of the Biden-Harris Administration’s Latino Prosperity Tour.
“The U.S. Small Business Administration, under the leadership of Administrator Guzman, has embarked upon a Latino Prosperity Tour across the country, and I am proud to welcome Administrator Guzman to IL-03, where many small business owners and Latine leaders I have had the honor to know and work with for years were able to show their work,” said Congresswoman Ramirez. “It was wonderful to bring a representative of the Biden-Harris Administration to our district to hear directly from our local entrepreneurs the issues that impact small business owners and how we can work together to ensure they receive the funding, support, and resources they need to thrive.”
Congresswoman Ramirez and Administrator Guzman visited El Artesanal, a Latino-owned coffee shop at Belmont Cragin, to meet with the owner and learn more about their operations. Then, both functionaries participated in a roundtable discussion at Crecer Business Incubator, a local small business incubator, with other Latine small business owners in IL-03.
The Latino Prosperity Tour is a multi-city tour that engages communities on the micro- and macro-economic issues that directly impact Latinos.
