City of Prospect Heights Police & Fire Commission met July 6.

SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
CALL TO ORDER – At 6:57 AM, Chairman Hoffman called to order the Fire Police Commission Special Meeting at 14 E Camp McDonald Road, Prospect Heights, IL 60070.
ROLL CALL - Administrative Director Gentry called roll. A quorum was present.
COMMISSIONERS PRESENT - Chairman Hoffman, Commissioners Fiorito, Riebman
OTHER OFFICIALS PRESENT - Police Chief Caponigro, Deputy Police Chief Derman, Administrative Director Gentry.
PUBLIC COMMENTS - None
NEW BUSINESS
A. Fire Police Commission Direction to the Police Chief, upon completion of all interviews and evaluations, to make conditional offers to the top three candidates.
Chairman Hoffman moved to direct Police Chief, upon completion of all interviews and evaluations, to make conditional offers to the top three candidates; seconded by Commissioner Fiorito. There was unanimous approval.
ROLL CALL VOTE:
AYES - Hoffman, Fiorito, Riebman
NAYS- None
ABSENT - None
Motion carried 3 - 0
CLOSED SESSION - Personnel Matters - Police Interviews - At 6:59 AM, Chairman Hoffman moved to go into Closed Session to conduct Police Candidate interviews; seconded by Commissioner Fiorito. There was unanimous approval.
ROLL CALL VOTE:
AYES - Fiorito, Riebman, Hoffman
NAYS- None
ABSENT - None
Motion carried 3 - 0
RETURN TO OPEN SESSION - At 12:15 PM, the Commissioners returned to Open Session. A quorum was present.
ADJOURNMENT - At 12:15 PM, Commissioner Fiorito motioned to Adjourn; seconded by Chairman Hoffman. There was unanimous approval.
VOICE VOTE: All Ayes, No Nays.
Motion carried 3-0.
