City of Wheaton Bicyclist and Pedestrian Commission met Sept. 20.

Chair Report- Cromwell Path Signage - Michelle got an email from Korey Day, Sign Shop Supervisor,that says the city is reviewing the request

No update waiting to hear back from John Duguay who is talking to Engineering about this
Chair Report-Budget-$1700 remaining

● $50 Gift card to Bob Goldborough for docenting the HIstory Ride
● $1000 for 2 school crosswalk signs
● $500 for new sign for WBPC
IV. Agenda Item
History Ride Recap
● Ride was a success
● Police were not able to provide support this year - same weekend as Ribfest
● We held it on Rosh Hashanah, look at calendar next year
● Consider a maximum of 5 stops, only use 4 if large group
● Consider having questions at last stop instead library or meeting place
● Consider having large areas for stops like we did this year as that was helpful

Connor - met with Principal at Lincoln at safe routes to school - crossing guard didn’t show up - Connor said to go to city council to discuss; meeting with two other schools in the next couple of weeks Connor for mid block crossing on Roosevelt at Chase - work with state
