Major General Rich Neely, the Commander of the Illinois National Guard, will officially retire after 40 years of service this May. Governor J.B. Pritzker announced the retirement, stating, "Congratulations to Major General Rich Neely, the Commander of the Illinois National Guard, on your Retirement!"
