The Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT) has scheduled a Public Information Meeting to discuss the upcoming project for the replacement of two bridges on Division Street. The initiative aims to enhance a mile of roadway on Division Street by replacing the bridges over the Chicago River and the canal.

The meeting, set for March 26, 2024, will provide an opportunity for the public to gain insights into the project and engage with the project team. Attendees will have the chance to view exhibits and participate in discussions regarding the planned infrastructure improvements.

During the meeting, project team members will be available to address inquiries and provide details about the proposed bridge replacements. The event will commence at 4:00 p.m. with exhibits on display, followed by a formal presentation from 4:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. A Q&A session will then take place from 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The location for the Public Information Meeting is the Chicago Public Library Bucktown-Wicker Park Branch at 1701 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL 60647.

As highlighted in the news release, the project falls under the purview of the Department of Transportation's Bridges, Viaducts, and Waterways division, underscoring the significance of the infrastructure development for the city of Chicago.
