During its meeting on May 13, 2024, the Board of Ethics unanimously voted to submit proposed amendments to the Governmental Ethics Ordinance for consideration and passage by the Mayor and City Council. The amendments aim to codify Mayoral Executive Order 2011-2, which bans registered lobbyists from making political contributions to the Mayor or the Mayor's political committee. The proposals also seek to expand on the prohibitions in that order, as detailed in the cover memo.
