Chicago Sky names Lincoln Road Enterprises as premier sponsor for 2024 season

Lincoln Road Enterprises, an organization focused on advancing women's leadership, has been named a premier sponsor of the WNBA Chicago Sky for the 2024 season. The announcement was made on June 26, 2024.

The Chicago Sky, the 2021 WNBA Champions, recognized Lincoln Road Enterprises as a "Proud Partner of the Chicago Sky" due to their shared commitment to empowering women and girls across Chicagoland. This partnership aligns with Lincoln Road's mission to elevate women by supporting new talent, improving systems, and encouraging bold ideas.

Ann M. Drake, President and Chair of Lincoln Road, stated, "Lincoln Road is very proud to be a sponsor of the Chicago Sky and help change the game for women and girls. Our vision is to create a future in which women are at the forefront of advancing and improving the world we live in. The Chicago Sky are great teammates, not only because they’re incredible athletes; they’re also powerful leaders."

As part of this sponsorship, Lincoln Road will engage in various leadership initiatives with the team. These include workshops, speaking opportunities, scholarships, and special gatherings aimed at showcasing Chicago’s women leaders and fostering connections among them.

The Chicago Sky were founded in 2005 by principal owner Michael Alter as an independently owned women's professional basketball team in the WNBA. They play at Wintrust Arena from May through September.

Lincoln Road Enterprises supports initiatives that foster women's contributions across various sectors including public and private enterprise, global supply chain management, engineering and technology, infrastructure design, and space astrophysics. Their upcoming Women’s Leadership Center at Williams Bay aims to provide a unique setting for women leaders to seek global solutions to complex problems when it opens in late 2025.
