Chicago Fire FC and Avocados from Peru have announced a new partnership, designating Avocados from Peru as the Official Avocado and Superfood of Chicago Fire FC. This collaboration will include various co-branding and activation opportunities at Fire matches, on social and digital channels, and throughout the Chicagoland area.
In partnership with Mariano’s Supermarkets, the two organizations have launched the #AvoFire Ultimate Soccer Sweepstakes. This sweepstakes offers fans a chance to win prizes such as Chicago Fire VIP experiences, a Mariano’s shopping spree, and a 2024 Tesla Model Y wrapped in Fire-themed decals featuring logos of Avocados from Peru, Mariano’s, and Chicago Fire. Fans can enter by registering at chicagofire.com/avocados or via QR codes available at local Mariano’s markets and on Instagram channels of Chicago Fire, Mariano’s, and Avocados from Peru. The sweepstakes will run until September 16, 2024.
“Chicago Fire FC is thrilled to be launching this new, exciting partnership with Avocados from Peru,” said Goyo Perez, Senior Vice President of Corporate Partnerships for Chicago Fire FC. “The #AvoFire Ultimate Soccer Sweepstakes is such a fun and interactive way to engage with the people of Chicago.”
Xavier Equihua, Chief Executive Officer of the Peruvian Avocado Commission added: “Avocados From Peru is excited to be launching our latest sports partnership and the #AvoFire Ultimate Soccer Sweepstakes with Chicago Fire FC.”
As part of this partnership, there will be efforts to highlight the health benefits of avocados through activations across social media channels, in-stadium signage, LED screens, and pre-match events. The AVO Fire Co-branded Tesla will also be displayed at Soldier Field and SeatGeek Stadium during all MLS regular season home matches from July 3 to September 28.
The next match for Chicago Fire FC is against Philadelphia Union on July 3 at Soldier Field. Tickets start at $35 and are available via Ticketmaster or by calling 888-MLS-FIRE. The match will also be broadcast globally on Apple TV.
