Rep. Stephens and CPS are providing free backpacks with school supplies at his district office. Families in need within the 20th District can pick up these backpacks at 8323 W. Lawrence Ave. in Norridge.
The distribution will take place from August 5 to August 8, between 10 AM and 3 PM each day. Supplies are limited, so residents are encouraged to visit early.
"Stop by our office at 8323 W. Lawrence Ave. in Norridge to pick up your backpack," reads the announcement.
This initiative aims to support families before the upcoming school year begins.
