Chicago Fire FC has announced Lou Malnati’s, known for its deep-dish pizza, as the presenting partner for the club's match against Inter Miami CF on August 31 at Soldier Field. This match is expected to be the most attended of the season, offering both organizations a chance to engage with a diverse audience.
The previous year's home match against Inter Miami set a record with 62,124 attendees and featured a halftime performance by local rapper Lil Durk. The upcoming game aims to build on that success with a post-match performance by pop/R&B artist Jason Derulo. Lou Malnati’s will enhance the pre-match experience with "Cirque du Lou" outside Soldier Field, featuring tailgate-style games and giveaways.
“Lou Malnati’s is a beloved Chicago brand, with a world-class product that has become synonymous with our city’s culture – the legendary and delicious deep-dish pizza,” said Dave Baldwin, President of Business Operations for Chicago Fire FC. “We’re excited to be partnering with an incredible local business who has deep ties within our community.”
As part of their partnership, Lou Malnati’s will offer fans opportunities such as the *Chicago Fire VIP Ticket Giveaway* and a chance to win free pizza for a year. Additionally, the first 20,000 fans entering Soldier Field on August 31 will have an opportunity to upgrade their seats to fieldside positions. Coupons for free medium cheese pizzas will also be distributed to 10,000 fans post-match.
The match kicks off at 7:30 p.m., and tickets start at $69. They can be purchased via Ticketmaster or by calling 888-MLS-FIRE. The game will be broadcast globally on MLS Season Pass and locally in English on WLS 890 AM and in Spanish on WRTO 1200 AM.
