Rep. Stephens and Sheriff Dart to host fall recycling event in Rosemont

State Representative Brad Stephens (R-Rosemont) and Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart will host a Fall Recycling Event on Saturday, September 7, 2024, from 9 to 11 am at 5515 N. East River Rd., Chicago, IL 60656, in the FH Paschen Parking Lot.

Rep. Stephens stated, “We will have a Shred Truck on-site for paper recycling, a secure prescription drug drop-off location provided by the Sheriff’s office, and an electronics recycling truck while space is available.”

This event is free for residents. Participants are encouraged to limit their shredding to two bags or bankers’ boxes of paper and one box of electronics along with a larger electronic device per family. The Sheriff’s office cannot accept needles or liquid medications at this event. Space for electronics recycling is limited and will be managed on a first-come-first-served basis.
