Chicago Fire FC will face Nashville SC tonight at GEODIS Park, marking the first of two consecutive away matches. The match begins at 7:30 p.m. CT and will be broadcast globally on MLS Season Pass, with local transmissions available on wlsam.com (English) and WRTO 1200 AM (Spanish).

The last encounter between these teams resulted in a 2-1 victory for Chicago on July 8, 2023, at Soldier Field, marking the Club's first win against Nashville. This game is the sixth meeting between the two teams since their inaugural match in 2020.

With five matches left in Chicago’s regular season, tonight's game is crucial for both teams as they vie for remaining playoff spots in the Eastern Conference.

Coach Frank Klopas has made three changes to the lineup that faced New York Red Bulls on September 14. Gastón Giménez makes his 15th consecutive start this season and his 101st career start for Chicago, continuing to wear the captain’s armband for the eleventh straight match.

Chris Brady starts for the 29th time this season. He achieved his 95th save of the season against New York Red Bulls, surpassing his previous single-season record of 94 saves.

Tom Barlow makes his fourth start of the season after scoring his first goal of the year against New York Red Bulls. Georgios Koutsias starts for a third time this season and has scored four goals in Chicago's last five matches across all competitions.

Maren Haile-Selassie starts his 14th regular-season match and continues a streak of starting in all competitions over sixteen matches. Arnaud Souquet also maintains consistency with his thirteenth consecutive start.

Ariel Lassiter makes his second straight start since joining Chicago in August after participating with Costa Rica in the Concacaf Nations Cup. Fabian Herbers starts consecutively for a second time this season and marks his overall appearance count to 103 times starting for Chicago out of a total of 202 MLS matches played.

Tobias Salquist returns to the starting XI after an absence since August 31 against Inter Miami, making it his eighth start this regular season. Wyatt Omsberg also continues from last week’s lineup due to Rafael Czichos' injury during warmups before facing New York Red Bulls.

Acosta starts again today, marking it as his twenty-fourth appearance this regular season. Defenders Rafael Czichos, Chase Gasper, Andrew Gutman, Carlos Terán are unavailable due to leg injuries while forward Hugo Cuypers is absent due to personal reasons following the birth of his son with wife Pauline.

Substitutes available include goalkeeper Spencer Richey; defenders Allan Arigoni, Jonathan Dean, Justin Reynolds; defender/midfielder Mauricio Pineda; midfielders Javier Casas Jr., Brian Gutiérrez, Federico Navarro; and Chris Mueller.
