Chicago Fire FC is set to face Charlotte FC in their final away game of the 2024 MLS regular season at Bank of America Stadium. The match will begin at 6:30 p.m. CT and will be available globally on MLS Season Pass, with local broadcasts on wlsam.com in English and WRTO 1200 AM in Spanish.

In their previous match, Chicago secured a 1-1 draw against Toronto FC, where Jonathan Dean scored his first career MLS goal and Justin Reynolds made his first start of the season as a Homegrown Player. Charlotte enters this match positioned seventh in the Eastern Conference after a 1-1 draw with Inter Miami at Chase Stadium.

Coach Frank Klopas has made two adjustments to the lineup from the Toronto FC game. Gastón Giménez continues his streak with an 18th consecutive start and captains for the 14th straight match. Chris Brady sets a single-season record by starting his 32nd regular season match, accumulating a record-breaking 99 saves this season.

Ariel Lassiter starts for the fifth consecutive time since joining Chicago Fire in August, having assisted Dean's goal against Toronto FC—his first contribution for the team. Arnaud Souquet marks his 16th straight start, totaling 21 appearances across all competitions this year.

Wyatt Omsberg makes his fifth consecutive start of the season, while Rafael Czichos and Kellyn Acosta each make their 26th starts. Brian Gutiérrez records his career-high sixth goal this season during his 25th start. Fabian Herbers surpasses last year's playing minutes by making his 24th start of the year.

Georgios Koutsias takes part in his second consecutive start against Charlotte FC, marking five overall starts this season. Jonathan Dean also returns for an eleventh appearance following last week's goal.

Unavailable players include defenders Chase Gasper and Andrew Gutman due to leg injuries; winger Maren Haile-Selassie and forward Hugo Cuypers are out for personal reasons.

Substitutes available for Coach Klopas include goalkeeper Spencer Richey; defenders Allan Arigoni, Justin Reynolds, Tobias Salquist, Carlos Terán; defender/midfielder Mauricio Pineda; midfielders Chris Mueller and Federico Navarro; and forward Tom Barlow.
