The Chicago Hounds have announced contract extensions for three key players ahead of the 2025 Major League Rugby season. The team has secured forward Luke White, center Bryce Campbell, and wing Noah Brown with new deals.
Luke White, who joined the Hounds in 2023, played a significant role during the 2024 season. He participated in 15 matches, starting in ten of them. White accumulated 708 minutes on the field and scored one try. His offensive contributions included carrying the ball 104 times for a total of 568 meters, averaging 5.5 meters per carry. On defense, he completed 91% of his tackle attempts and won six turnovers.
Bryce Campbell was the first player signed by the franchise after being selected in the November 2022 MLR Expansion Draft. In his second year with Chicago, Campbell started in 14 out of his 15 appearances and scored two tries. He carried the ball for a total of 679 meters and maintained a strong defensive presence with over a hundred tackles.
Noah Brown was drafted by the Hounds as their first-ever draft pick in the history of the franchise during the 2023 Major League Rugby Collegiate Draft. In his rookie season, Brown appeared in 13 games and scored four tries while gaining over 500 meters from carries.
These extensions come as part of Chicago's preparation for another competitive season in Major League Rugby.
