The Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT) is set to commence repairs on the DuSable Lake Shore Drive (DLSD) bridge deck over Montrose Avenue next week. This project will involve several lane closures on northbound DLSD throughout October and early November.
According to CDOT, starting October 9, one lane of northbound DLSD will be closed at Montrose for approximately one week. The closure will increase to two lanes starting around October 16 and last for about eight days. Following this, from approximately October 24, one lane will again be closed for about a week. Finally, starting around October 31, two lanes will be closed with work expected to conclude by November 7.
Importantly, CDOT has confirmed that ramps in the area will not be affected during this period.
