The Chicago Hounds have announced the signing of English center Ollie Devoto, a seasoned player with 193 caps in the Premiership. The 30-year-old joins the team after an extensive career with the Exeter Chiefs and Sale Sharks.

Devoto began his tenure with Exeter Chiefs in the 2016-2017 season, starting 19 games and playing a pivotal role in their victory at the Premiership Final against London Wasps. Over four seasons, he contributed to making Exeter a formidable force in the league, despite limited appearances during the 2017-18 season due to injuries.

In the 2018-19 season, Devoto was instrumental as he started in 18 out of 21 matches. He scored five tries over 1,284 minutes, leading to another top-table finish for Exeter and a fourth consecutive appearance in the Premiership title game.

Exeter claimed their second championship within four years during the 2019-20 season with Devoto scoring three tries. His standout performance came during the 2020-21 campaign where he achieved a personal best by scoring six tries over 1,665 minutes across 23 games.

Devoto's career prior to joining Exeter included three seasons with Bath where he earned 67 caps and scored eight tries. Overall, his Premiership career boasts impressive statistics: participating in 193 games with 127 wins and accumulating a total of 152 points from tries, penalty kicks, and conversions.

On an international level, Devoto was part of England’s senior training squad for the Six Nations in 2016 and made his debut for England on May 29 that year against Wales.

Chicago Hounds fans can look forward to seeing Devoto in action as season ticket packages for the upcoming Major League Rugby season become available this Friday, November 1st.
